Vava Moov 28 sport earphones feature an ergonomically angled eartip design for a better fit. Additional sized eartips are included, allowing you to choose the perfect fit. They also come with three sizes of ear wings.
As I tested this pair for review, I especially liked the ear wings as they did a great job of keeping the headphones in place, especially while running, exercising, or playing sports. With varying sizes of both eartips and ear wings, you will have no problem finding the right fit.
They are so small and lightweight you barely feel them. This is a great quality if you plan on wearing your headphones for long periods of time.
Vava Moov 28s are surprisingly well built, especially considering they are $30 set of Bluetooth earphones. They are made with an aluminum casing, sturdy flat rubber wire, and a nano coated interior. This coating makes the headphones both sweat proof and weatherproof to IPX6 standards.
This means they can withstand water being splashed on them from all sides at relatively high pressure levels. They shouldn’t be in water or submersed in water, but they will withstand sweat, rain, and near water activity with ease.
The Vava Moov 28 features a Bluetooth 4.2 connection that is both easy to pair and stable. Bluetooth range is 33 feet and battery life is 8 hours with a 2 hour recharge. Also, the Vava Moov 28 supports the aptX codec which allows for better Bluetooth sound quality. Your device, however, must also support this codec in order for it to work.
Once you have paired, repairing is easy as your device will remember the earbuds. You can connect to two devices at a time and easily switch between the two. For example, you could listen to music on a dedicated player and then easily switch over to your smartphone to take a call.
Additional features include built in magnets on the earbuds which can be used to connect your headphones around your neck sort of like a necklace. This keeps the earbuds secure when not in use.
Inline controls allow you to adjust volume, switch tracks, play and pause music, and answer calls without reaching for your device. The built in mic is excellent and features noise cancellation which attenuates ambient noise, providing clear audio to the person you are talking to.
The controls are located below the right earbud, but are surprisingly easy to reach and use once you get used to them. When the battery runs down, the included micro USB cable can plug into the onboard USB port and fully recharge the headphones in two hours.
The Vava Moov 28 also features excellent passive noise isolation. Once you find the right size eartips for your needs, you will notice that outside noise is effectively reduced, allowing you to listen to music at lower levels and protect your hearing. This is also great if you just want to take a break from the outside world for a while.
The headphone used in this review sounded good for the price. Don’t expect audiophile quality headphones, but for the price they more than met my expectations. They are not low on bass but aren’t bass heavy or bass hyped either. Bass heads that are looking to buy wireless Bluetooth earphones with huge, powerful bass should look elsewhere.
Like most inexpensive earbuds, they tend to get harsher and more sibilant as you turn them up. They can get loud, but tend to sound better at more moderate listening levels. Overall, the sound is balanced with the highs, mids, and lows at about equal volume.
They work well for all types of music, as well as for podcasts and audiobooks. They are not high end audiophile quality, but are definitely a step up from the stock earbuds that came with your device.
Our Verdict on VAVA Moov 28 Earbuds
If you think about it, it’s incredible that so many features can be packed into such a small design, at such a low price. If you’re on a budget but want to step up to wireless Bluetooth headphones, this is a great choice.
Considering you get a comfortable pair of earbuds with multiple tip and ear wing sizes, inline controls, a built in mic, excellent passive attenuation, and a good sound quality for the price, the Vava Moov 28 is hard to turn down.
I won’t say that spending more money won’t get you a better sounding set of headphones. However, if you’re on a budget and want a well-built set of earphones which will free you from wires; this is the perfect set for you.
I highly recommend these for people on a budget who are looking for earphones for sports, working out, and exercising. With their stay put design, wearing comfort, and affordable price, people on a budget can’t go wrong.
